Return and Refund Policy

Handling returns isn’t fun for anyone! Please contact us prior to ordering if you are unsure of sizing or application and we will be happy to help you!
 

Refund Policy

Returned products must be in new, unused condition and include the original box and any other hardware or parts received. Product returns made over 6 months from the original shipment date will only be issued store credit for the item. 
Once your return is received and inspected by our Returns Department (usually within 5-7 business days), your refund will be processed and a credit will be applied to your credit card or original payment method. Please note that depending on your credit card company, it may take an additional 2-10 business days after your credit is applied for it to be posted to your account.

You are responsible for all shipping costs associated with getting your order back to our warehouse.
 

Return Shipping Options

For customers in any location, you have the option of using the carrier of your choice to return your order to us. We recommend shipping with a method which includes tracking and insurance for your return shipment.
All shipments must be made prepaid; packages shipped COD will be rejected.
Any refused, undelivered, or abandoned package will be subject to a $10 service fee and shipping costs will not be refunded.
 

Exchanges

We do not currently offer product exchanges. Once we have processed your return, you can order the correct products you need at any time.
 

Order Cancellation / Modifications

If you change your mind, act quickly! We turn around and process orders usually within one business day.
Orders can be modified or cancelled only while their status is labeled "Order Received." Once an order has a status of "Order Processed," it cannot be cancelled or modified, as the order has been processed by our warehouse and is in the queue to be shipped out.
 

Used or Damaged Merchandise

Any merchandise or parts which show signs of use (wear, grass, dirt, odor, scuffing, mounting, etc) or otherwise is in a condition other than it was received cannot be returned.
If an item is returned without original box/packaging/accessories, it will be subject to a restocking fee of 25%.
If unreturnable, items are sent to our returns department, the customer will be notified but is responsible for the cost of return shipping if they’d like the item back.
We would recommend exploring re-sell options such as Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist if your item does not meet return expectations.
 

KUJO Shoes and Boots

KUJO shoes and boots are the only exception to our products that MUST be returned through KUJO.
In order to return or exchange these items, you will need to open a case with us first to retrieve your KUJO order number (this is different than your Ballard order number provided in your confirmation emails, and is essential to a seamless return process).
To complete your return/exchange: Go to https://www.kujo.com/ and scroll to the bottom. Click on either “Return” or “Exchange” and then “Initiate a free return/exchange”. Type in your KUJO order number. If you are exchanging, in the notes enter the new size you want.
A shipping label will be generated for you to print off. Once KUJO receives your return (they must be in the original box, unused, and include the backup laces), they will ship out your exchange or initiate a return through Ballard.
 

International Returns

International shipments should be marked as a "Merchandise Return" with a carrier that does not levy brokerage fees. Customer is responsible for any applicable brokerage or customs charges.
Any items shipped COD or having additional brokerage fees that are charged to Ballard Inc. upon delivery will be rejected.
 

Warranty Returns

Most of our items sold have a six month limited warranty period which covers against manufacturer defects.
Some products that are listed have a longer warranty period, and this will be indicated in the product listing if so.
In the event that an item is discontinued from Ballard, the customer will either be directed to the manufacturer or the Ballard team will work with you on a refund. This is only valid within six months of the purchase date. Any items discontinued beyond six months of your purchase period are no longer eligible for warranty.
 

Damaged Items

All items damaged in shipping must be claimed within 30 days of the date received. Please review your items immediately upon receipt to ensure all parts/hardware are in the package and in working condition so we can resolve this problem immediately.
If a package is received with damage, please photograph prior to opening and photograph any visible damage upon opening and inspecting. Send all pictures to us through our Contact Us page so we can begin a claim with the shipping service.
